About the album Streetcore
In 2003, Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros released their third and final album, as Joe Strummer would pass away at the end of 2002 and thus would not live to see Streetcore released to the market.
Coma Girl and Get Down Moses stood out, but the great moment of the album is the cover of Bob Marley’s Redemption Song. Rick Rubin had managed to record Strummer singing it with Johnny Cash.
It is the best work by Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros.
