About the album Body And Soul
The multifaceted Briton Joe Jackson presents his seventh album titled Body And Soul in 1984, produced by himself and American producer David Kershenbaum.
The album is a conglomeration of jazz, latin, and pop compositions. Due to the musical timbre offered by the album, the creator chose to recreate the jazz musician Sonny Rollins on the cover of his own album Sonny Rollins, Vol. 2 from 1957 for his album cover.
The release of the album was followed by a worldwide tour to promote it. Although there were other releases by Joe Jackson, Body And Soul was his last album with commercial success. In Britain, it reached No. 14, selling approximately 60,000 copies.
