In his seventh solo album, Bête Noire, Bryan Ferry continues down the path of sophisti-pop that he had established with his previous albums and offers us even more gems.
The three singles Kiss And Tell, The Right Stuff, and Limbo are accompanied by six more songs, creating a very remarkable result. In the production of the album, Ferry collaborates with Patrick Leonard, and on the guitars, one can hear Johnny Marr and David Gilmour. Andy Newmark is on the drums.
Bête Noire reached No. 9 in Great Britain and sold 100,000 copies, which earned it a gold status.
