About the album Walls Of Jericho
In 1985, following the release of the EP Helloween, the German speed metal band Helloween recorded and released the first studio album entitled Walls Of Jericho in November of the same year.
The compositions of Walls Of Jericho are by guitarist Michael Weikath and guitarist and singer Kai Hansen. Among the nine songs of the album, Ride The Sky, Metal Invaders, and Phantoms Of Death stood out. After the band's debut, Kai Hansen continued with Helloween only as a guitarist for the next two albums and then departed, only to return in 2021 (!) The album's producer was Harris Johns, but also the members of Helloween.
Walls Of Jericho is now a legendary album among those who love 1980s heavy metal.
