Helloween is a German heavy metal band formed in 1984 in Hamburg. They are considered pioneers of power metal, having influenced many later bands in the genre. The original lineup included Kai Hansen, Michael Weikath, Markus Grosskopf, and Ingo Schwichtenberg. In 1985, they released their first EP and debut album "Walls of Jericho," establishing their characteristic sound. The iconic album "Keeper of the Seven Keys: Part I" was released in 1987, followed by "Part II" in 1988. Despite lineup changes over the years, Helloween continues to be active and enjoys global recognition through their dynamic live performances and constantly renewed musical material.
