About the album Quark, Strangeness And Charm
The seventh album by the British band Hawkwind will be titled Quark, Strangeness And Charm. Hawkwind presents an extremely atmospheric space rock album, which will reach No. 30 in their country. The production of the album is a work of the band itself. This particular album will be their first without Nik Turner and without drummer Alan Powell. The album was recorded in February 1977.
Quark, Strangeness And Charm is a psychedelic hard rock journey, which is rooted in the science of physics, starting from its cover and extending to almost every song. Its one and only single was the eponymous Quark, Strangeness And Charm, but Hassan I Sahba also stood out, which is rich in influences from Eastern music and refers to Hasan al-Sabbah, a religious and military leader who lived in what is now the area of Iran during the eleventh century A.D.
Quark, Strangeness And Charm is rightfully included among the best albums of Hawkwind.
