Patience  by George Michael

Patience, released in 2004, became the fifth and final studio album by British artist George Michael, who had emphasized at the time that he would not record another album, and indeed, no other new album came out until his death in 2016.

With the fourteen new songs of Patience, George Michael navigates through pop, dance, as well as soul music. The album offered six singles, most of which were loved by the club audiences. On the other hand, from the perspective of music critics, Patience did not receive the best possible comments.

This did not prevent the album from reaching No.1 in the United Kingdom in its first week of release, where its sales have exceeded 700,000 copies. The truth is that one might have expected it to have a better performance in the United States, but this did not happen as evidenced by its No.12 position on Billboard and the "only" 400,000 copies sold on the other side of the Atlantic.
