Welcome To The Pleasuredome by Frankie Goes To Hollywood
About the album Welcome To The Pleasuredome
Welcome To The Pleasuredome in 1984 by Frankie Goes To Hollywood was one of the most successful debuts released in Britain in the '80s, selling nearly 250,000 copies in its first week of release.
Its original edition was a double vinyl release. Each of the four sides had its own title. Thus, the first side was called "F – Pray Frankie Pray," the second "G – Say Frankie Say," the third "T – Stay Frankie Stay," and the fourth "H – Play Frankie Play."
The album contains four covers that probably did not achieve their purpose (War, Born To Run, Ferry, San Jose).
