Under Lock And Key  by Dokken

In late November 1985, the American glam metal band Dokken released their third album, an album that would bring them into the musical spotlight—at least the American one. The album's title was Under Lock And Key and it met the criteria for success in the mid-1980s.

The ten songs on the album were ten rhythmic, melodic, and simultaneously embellished with wild guitar riffs and guitar solos, while their themes were typical: love affairs, dominant males searching for the female—The Hunter, the first single from the album—and unfulfilled love affairs—In My Dreams, the second single from the album. And naturally, there are the typical rock ballads of the album, Slippin' Away and Jaded Heart.

These and seven more songs produced by Neil Kernon and Michael Wagener made Under Lock And Key one of the most interesting glam/hair metal albums of its time. It reached No. 32 on the Billboard charts and due to its sales, it went platinum.
