Christmas by Chris Isaak
About the album Christmas
In 2004, it will be Chris Isaak's turn to surprise his music fans by recording and releasing the ninth album of his career titled Christmas, an album dedicated to the Christmas holiday. The interpretation of the songs brings to mind the '50s and '60s as the musical style of the album moves between rockabilly and rock 'n' roll.
Among the sixteen songs on the album, there are eleven covers of very classic Christmas songs, such as Let It Snow, Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, and many more, as well as five new compositions by Chris Isaak himself. The Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, which he performs with Stevie Nicks, was the first single of the album.
Christmas reached No. 109 on the Billboard. The Australian edition of the album included two additional songs.
