About the album Shake, Rattle & Roll
In 1955, Bill Haley and his Comets released two covers of blues songs by black artists: Shake, Rattle & Roll and Rock Around The Clock on an LP along with six other less successful songs, and they simply did not know what impact they were going to have for the coming decades.
Shake, Rattle & Roll was recorded in New York and released by Decca Records, and its producer was Milt Gabler.
It is one of the first LP albums of Rock 'n' Roll.
