About the album Emotions
In 1961, seventeen-year-old Brenda Lee released her fourth album titled Emotions. The album was recorded from August 1960 to January 1961 at the legendary Owen Bradley studios in Nashville, Tennessee. Owen Bradley was also the producer of the album.
The album is filled with songs by various composers who specialized in producing pop hits of that era, hits made for American radio. Among those who participate in the Emotions album and offer their compositions, we find lyricist Harold Adamson, the songwriting duo of Gerald Goffin and Carole King, as well as Ray Charles.
The album Emotions reached No. 24 on the Billboard.
