Don’t Be Cruel  by Bobby Brown

Bobby Brown incorporated a bit of dance music, a bit of R&B, a bit of funk, soul, and a lot of collaboration with producers Babyface and L.A. Reid to create his second album in 1988.

• The album titled Don’t Be Cruel produced five singles that became very successful in their time on radios and in clubs. His single My Prerogative was the second best-selling single of 1989.

The album sold 7,000,000 copies in the U.S. alone and turned Bobby Brown into an up-and-coming R&B star overnight, just before he turned twenty years old.
