About the album Night Moves
Bob Seger, alongside the Silver Bullet Band, recorded his ninth studio album titled Night Moves in 1976. This release was the one that made Bob Seger known to a very large audience in the United States. The album is filled with classic heartland rock songs, a distinctly American genre of music.
The singles from the album that stood out were Night Moves, Mainstreet, and Rock and Roll Never Forgets. This doesn't mean that the rest of the compositions are inferior. Night Moves is one of the classic albums of typical American rock from the 1970s.
The 6,000,000 copies sold of this album in the United States demonstrate the impact it had on the American audience. Night Moves also managed to move Canadian rockers, as 300,000 of them bought the record.
