Specter At The Feast by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
About the album Specter At The Feast
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club returns three years after their album Beat The Devil's Tattoo with Specter At The Feast in 2013. The first single was Let The Day Begin, a cover of the song by The Call, the band of Michael Been, father of the band's guitarist Robert Levon Been and producer of the previous B.R.M.C. albums, who had died suddenly at the age of 60 from cardiac arrest during the promotional tour of Beat The Devil's Tattoo as he was also the sound technician at the band's concerts.
Under these conditions, the band from California creates a mid-tempo (in a large part), dark, but also redemptive album for themselves. Specter At The Feast was recorded in various studios during 2012. Various producers were involved - among them were Ethan Allen and Chris Goss.
Specter At The Feast reached No.35 on the Billboard and No.31 in the United Kingdom.
