About the album Just As I Am

Bill Withers releases his debut in 1971. Just As I Am is an extremely interesting debut album as it contains one of the most beautiful soul – and not only – songs ever recorded. This is Ain’t No Sunshine.

This single by itself was enough to send Bill Withers to the eternity of pop & rock music. The artist from West Virginia lays the foundation for a great career that followed in the coming years of the '70s with the album Just As I Am, which contains two covers, one of Let It Be by the Beatles and another of Everybody's Talkin' by Harry Nilsson.

Just As I Am reached No. 39 on the Billboard.
