The British Barns Courtney presents his first full album in September 2017 titled The Attractions Of Youth. The musical style of his songs ranges between alternative rock, blues rock, but also includes many elements of folk pop.

The compositions belong to Barns Courtney himself, who plays the guitars and the piano. The song that stood out from the album was Fire, which was written in 2015 and was heard in the movie “Burnt” by Bradley Cooper. The Attractions Of Youth also includes the song Glitter & Gold, which was the first song Barns Courtney wrote again in 2015.

The album reached No. 95 on the UK charts, while it also had relative success in the U.S. as it reached No. 8 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart.
