Deep Purple : Mark III & IV or The David Coverdale Years
The Mark III & IV periods lasted from mid-1973 to mid-1976, the year in which the band came to an end, at least for the 1970s. Despite significant changes in the group's lineup and the upheavals they brought, Deep Purple released three albums, Burn (1974), Stormbringer (1974), and Come Taste The Band (1975) before disbanding in July 1976. The common denominator in all three albums is the voice of David Coverdale.
