The KLF, also known as The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu (The JAMs) and The Timelords, is a British electronic music band founded in 1987 by Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty. The group is known for its creative approach to music, mixing elements of acid house, techno, and iconoclastic performance art. They are famous for their provocative actions and unconventional tactics, as well as their sudden withdrawal from the music industry in 1992. The KLF made their mark with successful singles such as "What Time Is Love?" and "3 a.m. Eternal", establishing their position as pioneers of the alternative dance music scene.
