The Byrds
Group
The Byrds were an American rock band formed in 1964 in Los Angeles. Their original style combined folk music with rock and roll, leading to a unique sound identity that marked the '60s. Their most well-known lineup included Roger McGuinn, David Crosby, Chris Hillman, and Michael Clarke. The Byrds became famous with hits like "Mr. Tambourine Man" and "Turn! Turn! Turn!", introducing elements of jangle-pop and psychedelic rock into the music scene. Although the band disbanded in 1973, its influence remains significant in rock music history.
