The Alan Parsons Project
The Alan Parsons Project was a pioneering music band founded by Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson in 1975 in London. Alan Parsons, already known for his production on the legendary Pink Floyd album "The Dark Side of the Moon," collaborated with composer and lyricist Eric Woolfson to create a sound that combined rock, electronic, and symphonic music. The band achieved commercial success with albums like "I Robot," "Eye in the Sky," and "The Turn of a Friendly Card." Although they never toured as a live band during their initial existence, their influence and innovative approach to music production continued to inspire many in the music industry.
