Group
Stone Temple Pilots is an American rock band formed in San Diego, California in 1989. It consists of brothers Dean and Robert DeLeo, Eric Kretz, and originally had Scott Weiland as the lead singer. The band experienced great success in the '90s with their debut album "Core" (1992) and continued with successful albums such as "Purple" (1994) and "Tiny Music... Songs from the Vatican Gift Shop" (1996). Their music combines elements of alternative rock, grunge, and hard rock. While the band faced challenges with member changes and disbandment, they reunited and continued to release music, even after Weiland's death.
