Paradise Lost

Paradise Lost are a British heavy metal band from Halifax, Yorkshire, formed in 1988. They are a defining force in the birth of gothic metal, combining elements of doom, death, and gothic melodies. The pioneers of the genre, Nicholas Holmes (vocals), Gregor Mackintosh (guitar), Aaron Aedy (guitar), Steve Edmondson (bass), and Waltteri Väyrynen (drums), created the iconic album "Draconian Times" in 1995. Their musical influence alternates through the decades, evolving their dark soundscapes and establishing a devoted global fan base.
