Golden Earring was a Dutch rock band formed in The Hague in 1961. Initially known as The Golden Earrings, they changed their name in 1969. They were best known for the timeless track "Radar Love" (1973), which established them internationally. The band continued their career successfully for over five decades, releasing many albums and well-known tracks like "Twilight Zone" and "When the Lady Smiles." Golden Earring disbanded in 2021 due to health issues of guitarist George Kooymans.
