Can was an experimental German music band formed in 1968 in Cologne. They were known for their pioneering sound, which combined elements of krautrock, psychedelic rock, and electronic music. The main members of the band were Holger Czukay, Irmin Schmidt, Michael Karoli, Jaki Liebezeit, and Malcolm Mooney, who was later replaced by Damo Suzuki. Can stood out for their innovative compositions, extended improvisational sessions, and their influence on various musical genres. Their albums such as "Tago Mago," "Ege Bamyasi," and "Future Days" are considered milestones in music history. The band disbanded in 1979 but their influence remains strong.
