Audioslave was an American rock band formed in 2001 by former Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell and former members of Rage Against the Machine, Tom Morello (guitar), Tim Commerford (bass), and Brad Wilk (drums). The band became known for its unique sound that combined elements of alternative rock, heavy metal, and Latin, as well as for Cornell's powerful and emotional performances. They released three albums: "Audioslave" (2002), "Out of Exile" (2005), and "Revelations" (2006), and disbanded in 2007. The band reunited for a single performance in 2017 at the "Anti-Inaugural Ball" concert.
