Some statistics about the Whitney album, its 11 songs, and its success: To create it, 22 composers (musicians and lyricists) contributed and offered songs, 4 producers worked on it, recordings and editing of the songs took place in 15 different studios in the U.S., 6 singles were released, and it was performed by the most wonderful black voice heard in the second half of the '80s, the voice of Whitney Houston.

Album sales in the U.S. reached 10,000,000 copies with Whitney becoming diamond, while there were as many in the rest of the world. In Greece, it sold 50,000 copies (!)
