Meet The Temptations  by The Temptations

The vocal group The Temptations from Detroit compile all the successful singles they had released from 1961 to early 1964, thereby creating their first official album titled Meet The Temptations.

Among the names involved in the creation of the songs, Berry Gordy, Smokey Robinson, Norman Whitfield, Bobby Rogers, and of course the members of the group Eddie Kendricks and Otis Williams stand out. In reality, Meet The Temptations features a small parade of great talents from soul and doo-wop music.

Meet The Temptations as an album and its listening experience brings images from another era for sure, an era where to a large extent the legendary company Motown dominated black music in the United States.
