Help! by The Beatles
About the album Help!
In early August 1965, the Beatles will offer their millions of fans around the world the best album of their early period, Help! The fifth album by the Beatles consists of fourteen songs, two of which are covers, two are compositions by George Harrison, and the rest are creations of the Lennon/McCartney duo.
Help! contains the title song and Yesterday. Even if only these two existed, the album would be a small masterpiece, let alone when all the other songs stand on equal footing with these two. This album made music critics start to view the four Britons more seriously. John Lennon had stated that at that time the Beatles were under the influence of Bob Dylan and his songs, and this was reflected in the compositions of Help!
In both the USA and the UK, the album reached No. 1.
