Great Expectations by Tasmin Archer
About the album Great Expectations
The Briton Tasmin Archer was the surprise of the fall of 1992 with her first album Great Expectations, as well as with its lead single Sleeping Satellite. She turned everyone's attention towards her. Unfortunately, the sequel was not equivalent, and the title now seems ironic.
Archer, having a decade of amateur singing experience behind her, signed a contract with EMI, and in collaboration with John Beck and John Hughes, they prepared the album.
The album went gold in Britain, selling 300,000 copies.
