Steal This Album!  by System Of A Down

The third album by System Of A Down comes in 2002 and is titled Steal This Album!. System Of A Down had realized that part of their music fans used to listen through various music platforms to low-quality sound songs of their upcoming new work, which they were still recording. So, wanting to send their message, they named the album Steal This Album!.

Steal This Album! is now a classic nu metal album. The main composer of the album's songs is Serj Tankian, although this does not mean that the rest of the band did not contribute to the creation of the album. The album's production was done by Daron Malakian and mainly by Rick Rubin.

The album eventually went platinum in the USA, while it also enjoyed great success in Germany, where 150,000 copies were sold. Steal This Album! became one of the most characteristic and emblematic albums of the band from California.
