Camouflage by Rod Stewart
About the album Camouflage
Rod Stewart – like most artists of his generation – is trying to adapt to the new sound brought by the 1980s. His thirteenth album, titled Camouflage in 1984, should be considered such an effort.
The single Infatuation stood out, reaching No. 6 on the Billboard, while a good moment was the cover of Some Guys Have All The Luck by the Persuaders, which Robert Palmer had also covered two years earlier! In Camouflage, Rod Stewart collaborates once more with Jeff Beck, who plays guitar on several songs.
The album's production is by Michael Omartian, who also plays keyboards in many parts. The album sales in the U.S. reached 500,000 copies and the British songwriter saw his album reach No. 18 on the Billboard. In his home country, Camouflage reached No. 8.
