About the album A Night On The Rocks
JWalk releases A Night On The Rocks in 2002 and creates the ultimate night-time electronic dance music soundtrack. The album consists of twelve compositions, which offer an amazing musical journey for genre enthusiasts. Trip-hop, acid jazz, and downtempo rhythms characterize the whole project.
Most compositions are instrumental, while in four of them some unknown singers lend their voices.
Elsewhere, the artist uses musical samplings from the soul and funk of the '70s, as is the case in Scarlet Menace, and elsewhere he borrows and adopts passages from acid jazz, as happens in the album's big hit, Soul Vibration, which was featured in many dance music compilations.
