Unchain My Heart by Joe Cocker
About the album Unchain My Heart
Unchain My Heart is the seventh studio album by Englishman Joe Cocker and will be released in 1987, produced by Charlie Midnight and Dan Hartman.
The album is a typical example of the efforts made by stars of the previous decade at that time to return to the spotlight, but mainly to adapt to the sound of the 80s, which was changing dramatically year by year.
Unchain My Heart was not one of Joe Cocker's most successful efforts. Except for the title track Unchain My Heart, which was a cover of the legendary song by Ray Charles from 1961 and thanks to the legendary saxophone solo by Clarence Clemons heard in it, the rest of the album moves in mediocrity. Reaching No.2 on Germany's charts was one of the album's most impressive achievements.
