I Want Blood  by Jerry Cantrell

I Want Blood of 2024 is the fourth studio effort by Jerry Cantrell, the guitarist of Alice In Chains. The album consists of nine compositions, all of which were written by Cantrell himself.

I Want Blood is situated between alternative metal and alternative rock, while undoubtedly showcasing some grunge elements, which the creator carries within him from the Alice In Chains era. Jerry Cantrell is joined by Greg Puciato of Dillinger Escape Plan, Duff McKagan of Guns 'N' Roses, Robert Trujillo of Metallica, and drummer Gil Sharone. The album is produced by Joe Barresi.

Commercially, the album didn't succeed, judging by its No. 145 position on the Billboard chart. On the other hand, I Want Blood is a very respectable rock album, which easily ranks among the top rock albums of its year in the broader sense.
