Pleased To Meet You  by James

The ninth album by James in 2001 brings this British group of musicians to the global music spotlight. The initial thought for the album's title was We Want Our Money Back, then it became Space, and the final proposal was Pleased To Meet You, which leads James to success and recognition.

The sound of the album clearly incorporates modern alternative rock elements with electronic influences. Most of the production is credited to Brian Eno, but there is also producer KK as well as the members of James who played their part in shaping the final sound of one of the most interesting albums released in the first decade of the twenty-first century. The standout tracks included the single Getting Away With It (All Messed Up) with extensive radio play for many years after its release. The face on the cover is a collage of photos of the faces of all members of James.

The 60,000 copies sold in James' homeland, the United Kingdom, made it silver.
