About the album Out Of Sight
Out Of Sight is the ninth studio album released by James Brown, who also takes on producer duties for the album. Out Of Sight was released in September 1964, after two other albums had already been released earlier in the same year. Without a doubt, this particular album overflows with soul, while the artist is beginning to become increasingly known.
Four of the twelve songs on the album are credited to a Ted Wright, who is none other than James Brown himself, using this name as a pseudonym. These compositions are Out Of Sight, the instrumental Somethin' Else, Maybe The Last Time, and of course the very great, international, and timeless hit I Got You (I Feel Good), of which the version is not the one most people have in mind, as it was released as a single the following year in a different version.
Out Of Sight reached No. 65 on the main Billboard chart.
