The Fox by Elton John
About the album The Fox
The Fox was Elton John's fifteenth album, released in 1981, at a time when its creator was not experiencing his most creative period.
For the promotion of the album, video clips were made for all the songs, which were released in 1982 in the VHS collection titled Visions. In The Fox, there are five songs (Heart in the Right, Chloe, Place, Carla/Etude, Fanfare, and Elton's Song) that had been written for Elton John's previous album, 21 At 33.
The commercial success of the album was moderate and certainly did not add anything to the otherwise very remarkable career of its creator in the previous decade. It reached No. 12 in Britain.
