About the album Sincerely

The 1976 album Sincerely marks the debut of the American group Dwight Twilley Band from the state of Oklahoma. In reality, it was a duo consisting of Dwight Twilley and Phil Seymour, who collaborated with some session musicians, such as Bill Pitcock IV on lead guitar and Leon Russell on piano.

Sincerely was a remarkable album filled with rock and power pop songs perfectly aligned with the American rock sound of the mid-1970s. The album was recorded between 1974 and 1976 and was released by Shelter Records in July 1976. The singles from the album were I’m On Fire and You Were So Warm, while the song Feeling In The Dark was featured in the third episode of the Netflix crime series “Mindhunter” in 2017 (!)

The album did not become a huge commercial success as the highest position it reached was 138th on the Billboard.
