Auberge by Chris Rea
About the album Auberge
Two years after the release of The Road To Hell, Chris Rea returns with an almost equally impressive album titled Auberge (in French it means "inn"). Auberge is the eleventh album by the British Chris Rea and it will reach No. 1 in his homeland, selling 600,000 records.
The themes that the majority of the album's songs deal with are related to a road trip (which starts from the cover). Essentially, it is an introspection of the creator.
In the U.S.A., the album went unnoticed. It only reached No. 176 on the Billboard.
