About the album Storm Front
The 1980s ended for Billy Joel with the album Storm Front, which reached No.1 on the Billboard chart thanks to its iconic single We Didn’t Start The Fire. All the songs were composed by Billy Joel, who had the valuable assistance and contribution of Mick Jones of Foreigner in the production of the album.
This was followed by a tour that lasted from December 2, 1989, to June 24, 1991, with Billy Joel performing 172 shows.
The worldwide sales of Storm Front approached 6,000,000, although the initial reviews of the album were not particularly positive.
