About the album The Lexicon Of Love

The Lexicon Of Love by ABC was one of the most significant debuts of its time in the early '80s, specifically in 1982, as the album immediately reached No. 1 in the United Kingdom upon its release.

The Lexicon Of Love is an album that combines anything innovative in the British pop music scene with social and political lyrics. ABC offers a record that ranges from disco to new wave and from blue-eyed soul to lounge music. One of the producers of the album was Trevor Horn, while the second producer was Steve Brown. Most of one of the most influential albums in '80s pop music was recorded at Sarm East Studios in London.

The first album by ABC and its great success remain to this day the strong card of the group. The Lexicon Of Love exceeded 1,000,000 copies. No other album by ABC was able to achieve something more significant.
