Wham! was a British musical duo formed in 1981 by George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley. The band achieved tremendous success during the 1980s, combining pop and soul elements in their music. With hits like "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go," "Last Christmas," and "Careless Whisper," Wham! topped the charts in many countries. The duo disbanded in 1986, when George Michael decided to pursue a solo career. Wham! left an indelible mark on the pop music scene with their lively performances and signature songs.
