Ultravox
Group
Ultravox is a British new wave band that was formed in 1973 in London. Initially, it included elements of glam rock and electronica. The band achieved great success during the 1980s, with songs like "Vienna" reaching the top of the UK charts. Ultravox's music is often characterized by a combination of synthesizers, dynamic percussion, and theatrical performance. Midge Ure, who joined the band in 1979, significantly contributed to the success and sound that defined their artistic trajectory. Ultravox disbanded in 1988 but reunited several times in the following decades.
