The Undertones

The Undertones are a punk rock band from Derry, Northern Ireland, formed in 1974. They are known for their distinctive sound that combines the energy of punk music with melodic pop influences. The band became widely known with their single "Teenage Kicks", released in 1978, and is considered one of the key moments in punk music history. The Undertones disbanded in 1983 but reunited in 1999 without the original singer Feargal Sharkey. Today they continue to tour and record new music.
