The Temptations

The Temptations are one of the most iconic American male groups in soul and R&B music. They were formed in 1960 in Detroit, Michigan, and are known for their success during the 1960s and 1970s with the "Motown" record label. The group has released a multitude of hits such as "My Girl", "Ain't Too Proud to Beg" and "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone". The Temptations are known for their multi-part harmonies, artistic elegance, and dynamic choreography. They have won several awards, including numerous Grammys, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989. Despite numerous member changes, The Temptations continue to tour and influence artists, with their significance in music history remaining indisputable.
