The Jeff Beck Group
Group
The Jeff Beck Group was a British rock band formed in 1967 by guitarist Jeff Beck, a former member of the Yardbirds. The original lineup included singer Rod Stewart, bassist Ron Wood, pianist Nicky Hopkins, and drummer Micky Waller. There were some lineup changes, and they released two albums before disbanding in 1969. Their music combined blues rock with hard rock and had a significant influence on the course of rock music.
