The Iron City Houserockers

The Iron City Houserockers were an American rock band formed in 1976 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Known for their dynamic rock sound and explosive live performances, the band gained popularity in the Great Lakes area and beyond. The Iron City Houserockers combined elements of blues, rock, and soul music, with the distinctive vocals of Joe Grushecky, who also co-wrote many of their lyrics. They released several albums throughout their career, with "Love's So Tough" and "Have a Good Time but Get Out Alive!" considered among their most significant works. Their lyrics often drew inspiration from the working-class experiences in Pittsburgh's industrial landscape.
