The Gods
Group
The Gods was a British rock band formed in 1965. It initially consisted of Mick Taylor, Ken Hensley, John Glascock, and Lee Kerslake. Their music spanned the broader space of psychedelic and progressive rock. Although they did not achieve great commercial success, some of their members went on to play significant roles in major bands of the era, such as Uriah Heep and Jethro Tull. The band released their first album "Genesis" in 1968, which stood out for its creative elements and experimental compositions.
