The Dream Syndicate
Group
The Dream Syndicate is an American band formed in 1981 in Los Angeles. They are considered one of the pioneering groups of alternative rock and the Paisley Underground movement of the 1980s. Their music is characterized by psychedelic elements, influences from the rock of the 1960s, and a particular emphasis on melodies and lengthy improvisations. Their initial album "The Days of Wine and Roses" from 1982 is considered a classic of the genre. Despite their breakup in 1989, they reunited in 2012 and continued to release new music and perform concerts.
